Health & Safety Regulations
A1 Movable Walls is a Health and Safety accreditation company, and our engineers are fully trained and qualified in Asbestos Awareness, CSCS, and First Aid. Our commitment to safety aligns with the Health and Safety and Welfare Regulations, including the Provision of Work Equipment (PUWER) 1998, section 2 and subsection 6, clause 2.
These regulations state that every employer must ensure that work equipment exposed to conditions causing deterioration, which could lead to dangerous situations, undergoes regular inspections (i.e., regular servicing). Additionally, any circumstances that may jeopardize the safety of the work equipment must be addressed to maintain health and safety conditions.
To comply with the Regulations and law, it is imperative to demonstrate that servicing and maintenance occur annually, with visits logged and recorded. This documentation becomes particularly crucial in the event of an accident or Health and Safety Inspection.
